My substitute for Yoga after a long day

     Not the biggest Yoga fan? Hey, it isn't meant for all of us so no worries! Let me introduce you to my own quick, easy, nightly routine to end a long stressful day. The routine consists of doing pushups, tricep dips, lunges, and sit-ups, Then top it off with a nice shower and filling meal.

    To begin the workout I first start stretching my body out. Then the actual workout starts with 2 sets of pushups. After that, I then do 2 sets of tricep dips. Then for the finale, I end the quick workout with either lunges or sit-ups. I alternate between the 2 each day, so that I end with a different one each day. With each set I like to do as many as I can, until I can't do anymore. By choice, I also like to curl 30-pound dumbbells between sets. 

    Not even being a big workout guy, I always feel better after a long day doing this routine, then after getting a nice shower and nutritious meal in. After a while of doing this, my overall life has improved in a way thats making me more active now than I have ever been before. In addition, my body has started looking better in the process which has given me a boost of confidence. It just proves that you don't have to do a whole lot, but being consistent with your routine pays off.
